I do have a waiting list, so it is advisable to contact me well in advance,

Choose a photo

When creating a portrait commission, the most important part is choosing the right photo.
That can be quite a challenge.
The sharper the details, the better the result.

Some helpful tips

  • Take a photo in good light.
A cloudy day or a light room is ideal, but direct sunlight and shadow can really add something to a portrait.
  • Take the photo of your pet so that it fills most of the frame.
This ensures that details such as individual hairs and characteristic features are visible.
  • Bend your knees to get to the same height as your pet.
  • Reflections in the eyes bring a special magic to a portrait.
  • Consider whether you want the collar painted in the portrait.
  • Choose an angle or pose of your pet that you find beautiful and that is characteristic of his or her personality.

The more photos the better!
If it's difficult to choose, feel free to send a few photos, then I can help choose.
